Bring Stride with Haiti to your towns!
Stride with Haiti's background, inspired by Partners in Health's (http://www.pih.org/) amazing relief efforts, is summarized to the left of this post.
Stride with Haiti can be brought to towns across the globe in many ways. The idea is to create a flexible model that can be adapted by each individual community in the best way they see fit. This website is intended as a host for open source distribution of Stride with Haiti resources, including the logo, letters, & other resources to make our fundraising as effective and efficient as possible.
We are offering a logo designed by a Stride with Haiti volunteer, available for your use for raising PiH funds in your community. Email austinPIHstridewithhaiti@gmail.com to get a copy of the high resolution file to use the logo in your PiH fundraising efforts. Feel free to post any designs or material you'd like to share. Let the brainstorming begin!
How can you bring Partners in Health's Stride with Haiti to your towns?
You could raise funds directly through a campaign (ie word of mouth, flyers at your favorite town establishments, etc) or indirectly through the creation of a product available for sale (shirts, stickers, etc), with all profits going to PiH. Your potential approachable communities could include:
Friends, family, colleagues, religious organizations, and neighborhood associations are great points of contact. Wherever you find an approachable niche for Partners in Health relief, feel free to use the Stride with Haiti campaign materials available here! Get the word out and go raise some money for PiH!!

- informal training groups (walk, hike, run, climb, bike, ski, soccer, kayak, ultimate frisbee, etc)
- organizaers and participants in existing fun runs, walks, and other active events coming up in town
- supporters at athletic events (for example cheering at fun runs or high school & collegiate track and cross country meets)
